The Hands that Hold the Bowl: June Jordan and Solidarity Against Famine

Inspired by Mothers for a Ceasefire's call this week's reflective writing workshop will engage June Jordan's poem "Focus in Real Time" which centers around the image of 'a bowl of rice/ as food/as politics.' We will be writing to focus our solidarity and as a benefit to the Sameer Project which is committed to nourishing the people of Gaza. Recording will be available for all who sign up.
